Porsche Releases 911 50th Anniversary Edition Coupe

The infamous Porsche 911 celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, and of course, just like all the other automakers revealing anniversary vehicles in the news lately, it revealed a special edition 50th anniversary. The car is powered by the 911 Carrera S mechanics, on a 911 Carrera 4 wide body, creating a wide body 2-wheel drive 911 coupe. The car is unique and will definitely become a collectible in the future. On the cars exterior, Porsche put 20 inch two-tone wheels. Three colors will be available on the 50th Anniversary; Graphite Gray, Black Monochrome, and Geyser Gray. The car comes standard with: Powerkit Package (adds 30hp), Porsche Active Suspension Management, Sport Exhaust System, and the Dynamic Light System with bi-xenon headlights. Under the hood, the car boasts a 3.8 liter 430hp engine which does 0-60 in 4.2 (PDK transmission cuts it down to 3.8sec).The price tag isn’t too cheap, it starts at $125,050 and wont be too easy to find. Porsche will only produce 1963 units of the car (1963 marks the year the 911 was introduced). The car will be introduced at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show in September. See the rest of the pics below.
